Great news for unbranded HTC Sensation and XE owners as the latest OS Android 4.0 update aka ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) is available for download OTA as of Today to UK.

To update the latest version of Android, go to Settings on your HTC Sensation / XE and then scroll down to About Phone and select Check Now although your phone might have auto check box ticked it will not always tell you of the update straightaway.

The Android 4.0 setup download size is 282.88 MB.

The Ice Cream Sanswich update brings many great new features.

You can now use Face unlock -facial recognition to unlock Android phone.

Also you create folders to put your app in. To create folders simply hold on to an app icon then drag it on top of another app icon and will create and put both apps in a folder.

Android 4.0 also let’s you see your internet data usage and see if you going over your monthly internet allowance. This may be little bit of a bad news to the app developers that made apps available to do that.
